Dr. Hui Xu is an accomplished Classical Concert Pianist. She has been invited to perform in many well-known music halls all over the world which includes New York Carnegie Hall. Her recordings have been broadcast on TVs and radios in Europe, Asia, and the United States. The WFSQ (NPR Classical Music Program) comments her as “A Talented and Exciting Pianist” on interview.
Dr. Hui Xu is a prize winner of many international piano competitions: First Prize at the 24th United States International Duo Piano Competition - Level XII/Prof. (Denver, 2023); First Prize at the 9th International Eugen Coca Competition of Young Pianist (Moldova, 2003); Second Prize at the 3rd International Competition of Piano-Duo (Lithuania, 2002); Third Prize at the 6th International Maria Yudina Competition of Young Pianists (St. Petersburg, Russia, 2004); Fourth Prize at the International Young Artists Piano Competition (Washington D.C., 2008), etc.
Dr. Hui Xu is a Steinway & Sons Top Piano Teacher (2022), and she is also an active adjudicator for piano competitions and MTNA Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM).
